Calculate Head Air Flow From RPM And CID

Back HomeWallace Racing Back to Auto CalculatorsBACK to Calculators

These formulas are from A. Graham Bell's Performance Tuning in Theory and Practice..

This is the "minimum" amount of Flow @ 28" needed to attain Peak HP at your RPM point

If you input 100(%) for Volumetric efficiency this will be close to the maximum rpm at peak HP at your CFM.

If you then input 127.5 (%) for Volumetric efficiency this will be close to the minimum rpm at peak HP at your CFM.
